Manufacturing Unit
PRODUCTION SECTION
Our Processing section is well equipped with the latest technologies to complement the manufacturing process. Though all process religiously follows the instruction mentioned in ancient manuscripts, the incorporation of modern technologies enables us to enhance production capacity and retains the purity of the herbs and plants used, without compromising quality.
Every process is carried out as per the Good Manufacturing Practice (G.M.P.) guidelines specified by W.H.O. and QMS as per ISO 9001:2000 standards.
RAW MATERIAL SECTION
In Ayurvedic medicines all raw materials are derived from natural sources. They may be from plant source, animal source or from minerals. Synthetically prepared ingredients are not incorporated during any stage of preparation. The herbs are sourced from genuine cultivators located all over the country and undergo stringent quality checks before approval for production.
The toxic nature of some herbs will disappear when they go into formulation with other ingredients or when subjected to the process of shudhi (detoxification cum strengthening protocol)
BOTTLING SECTION
The Bottling section follows strict international quality standards. Before packaging the medicines undergo stringent quality tests to ensure their efficacy and quality. Usage of precision filling equipments along with devotion to the stringent G.M.P. Standards and QMS augment the quality of our products. The standard packages are either in glass, plastic or in PET containers.
Upgrading of packing materials and technology is an on going process at ASOKA
QC and R&D
Since inception the prime focus was to deliver quality assured products. The state-of-the-art Quality Control lab enables us to monitor and standardise the raw materials and the finished products using modern evaluation procedures. The tests assure and validate the efficacy and safety of the drugs.
Various tests such as Alcohol determination, Moisture content, stability studies, T.L.C studies, spaponification values etc are conducted.
